Methodology

`data-nosnippet` regions reduce accidental search snippets; they are not encryption. Hidden answer markup may exist in HTML when published — visitors should treat spoilers as a UI contract, not a cryptographic guarantee.

Solver rankings use heuristic information-gain splits (policy heuristic-entropy-v1 in src/domain/solver/rankGuesses.ts). Dictionary scope is loaded via /api/words/dictionary with license/scope notes; production should register corpora in word_list_datasets.

Community participation uses a signed guest cookie (qg_guest). It is not proof of a unique human; clearing cookies or using another browser can submit another vote or result. Difficulty votes and results are unique per guest identity and edition in the database (update, not duplicate rows). Post and result moderation is required before public display.
